My name is Maria Meyer. I am a tile setter and an assistant trainer for the Artisans Revolution in Tile training program. I have worked in high-end residential and commercial enviroments, with a focus on artistic tile. I started my career with Dragonfly Tile and Stoneworks in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I learned proper setting methods, how to design custom installations, and how to create hand-cut tile mosaics. From there, my involvement in the industry grew. I was a part of the Dragonfly/ Tierra Tile team that created mosaics for the 2020, 2021 and 2022 Coverings Convention. In 2023 I was a part of the traing team for the premier A.R.T. training program, and again in 2024. I am currently working full time in commercial tile for Nichols Terrazzo and Tile in Nashville, Tennessee. My love for mosaics and my love for this industry continues to grow with my career.
