Alex Smith is a luxury residential tile installer with 20 years of experience. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree, and is a Ceramic Tile Education Foundation, Certified Tile Installer(CTI 1500).Alex has a keen eye for detail, loves the form and function inherent in a tile assembly, and gets excited about the energetic potential of a carefully designed installation. As a Technical Trainer for the NTCA he is grateful for the opportunity to share knowledge of standards and methods that are tried and true. When he’s not geeking out on tile, Alex spends time with his wife, and two beautiful daughters, gazing up from the lake at the mountains of northwestern, North Carolina.
